Well, technically a “4th wall character”… being the “author” and all, he should have “god-like” powers.
Description:
Ah yes, Fesworks is the creator of A Pessimistic Sense of Inadequacy. No, Fesworks really isn’t an Fur, but rather a fun cartoon fursona to differentiate from Fes. Yes, he was first design as Fes, especially as he was based off of Fesworks’ actual appearance. But Fes became a seperate character for sake of trying to eliminate the 4th wall author insertion for PSI… which failed.
Fesworks was never meant to get involved in PSI directly in the main storylines, only in the “non-story”, “in-between” strips. It’s more complicated than that, especially since the Crossover Wars Story. But it should be explained in the 2007 Q&A section.
Still, despite all the confusion, Fesworks now tries to stay out of the main story. Fes, Ernst, and Nemi are still aware of him (and of being webcomic characters)… they just don’t want him to mess with them too much.
Pessimisms:
Oh, too many to choose from. But for simplicity, let’s say that he probably works on so many projects to distract him from his issues… also, referring to himself in the third person, and as a separate “fur” character, may have some identity issues.
