(Rachel walks in)
Fes: (To Rachel) “Hey… what the crap happened?! Where are all the Zombies?””
Rachel: “Oh those? They’re taken care of already.”
Ernst: “Wait, what? How? Who?”
Rachel: “What looked like a rag-tag group of Magical Misfits. They destroyed most all of them… With beings I’ve NEVER seen before.”
(next panel shows several characters from the webcomic, Magical Misfits. Some of which could be spotted as cameos earlier.)
Ernst: “Were they from the government?”
Rachel: “Didn’t seem like it… They vanished shortly afterwards.”
Nemi (noticing behind them, in the mall lobby): “Hey… Is that Scale?” “SCALE!”
Hmm, they’re not very GOOD at pretending the CW didn’t happen are they now?
It’s kinda hard when Scale kinda needs to be in the story. As far as the “Halloween Cameo Caper 2008″ that PSI has been involved with for this whole time (if no one noticed), it’s been interwoven with PSI’s story, and not as blatant as the Crossover Wars… but I do have a strip coming up that will help explain things a bit.
I think I should’ve put a
on the end of that.
Hmm, just noticed, you forgot Nemi’s collar in the first panel.
