If you are confused, please read from PSI strip 315. It’s basically explained in-story for where this current strip picks up.
However, for the quick version: During the zombie attack in the mall, Whisper Song had [PSI] shielded by her goddess on [Magical Misfits] to prevent an evil from escaping to another world. This was a spiritual barrier. Wander and the others that were in [PSI] could go back, but Whisper Song could not go back. Steve (Life) basically said he’d take care of her. These were a couple of plot points that was introduced and, this is me closing it. Admittedly, this was me getting ahead of myself, and made things a bit more complicated… The next few updates will explain a bit more, and hopefully reveal why I did it.
